a/n: I can't think of a name, thus it will just stay like this for a bit.

The phonecall hadn't been expected to say the least, disrupting the male from his work he had been curious why on earth Rhys' school would be calling him at one in the afternoon. The last thing he had expected was to be putting his new spring/summer collection and aside to soon be down at the school picking the seven year old up on his lunch break after some rather shocking news from the headmaster.

The moment he had walked in and saw his son the image of the bruised cheek and graze mark on his temple was not a pleasant one, but now sat in the car as he drove back across the city he didn't get a look in edgeways as the young boys head hung down, blue eyes looking at his feet, occasionally excuding a yes or no in response to Tetsu's voice. It stayed that way until the car was parked, infact all the way until the door to the apartment was opened and Rhys suddenly made a dash for his room, a sentence shouted at his father before door was slammed. A sentence that felt like a punch in the stomach for the thirty-five year old.

"I hate you and I hate Dad, I hate you both."

Frozen for a few moments, slow steps were taken to the closed door, hearing the faint sound of sobbing fingers rapped on the wood.
"Go away."
"Rhys..."
"I never want to see you again!"
"Rhys whats happened?" Despite the statements of the seven year old Tetsu still let himself into the room, exhaling slowly at the image of the boy still in school uniform curled up in a ball on his bed, clutching a pillow so hard his knuckles were going white. Ignoring the annoyed wail that came from him, the slim male perched himself on the bed, a hand moving to run over dark, messed hair he was greeted by a mumbled shout into the pillow, something that sounded like 'don't touch me.' As before though, he ignored the protests of his son, instead letting a finger tip stroke next to the already scabbed up graze.
"Rhys...?"
"It doesn't matter."
Trying his best not to get agitated with his son, after all it was obvious to see he had already been through enough, he moved on the bed, sitting with his back resting against pillows so curled up back of the figure next to him was next to his side. "I've put aside my work so I could some and get you. The least you can do is tell me what happened." Listening out for any signs of life, a quite muffling sound was spoken into the still clutched pillow, hand reaching around to move the pillow from the boys face.
"I can't hear if you talk into a pi--"
"I said why can't we be a normal family?"
The few moments silence seemed to last days on end, the fashion designer falling silent as he let the pillow fall back under Rhys control. He however let it down, looking over his shoulder to find out why the older male next to him had fallen silent. Why Rhys was having trouble with it he couldn't understand. When they had been growing up, Isobel and Christian had handled their rather strange family unit beyond amazingly. He should have taken into account that Rhys was different, that something like this could have happened, but it seemed to slip out of his mind forgetting that two fathers wasn't the norm.

"Dad?"
The silence was broken by the small voice, its owner now sat on his knee's looking up at the quiet male whose eyes had closed, softly nibbling on his lip before he spoke barely above a whisper. "We love you, Rhys."
"I know but yesterday at school some of the older kids saw you pick me up, and you don't normally pick me up so they were asking questions at lunch and I said you were my dad and they were being really mean and saying that I shouldn't have two dads and thats its gross and I said no you were great dads and better than theirs and then they started hitting me and I tried to hit them back but there was more of them and they were saying I was wrong and... and..." Finally taking a pause to breathe blue eyes, with tears in their eyes saw an almost identical pair, dampened aswell, looking down at him before the older man scooped him up in his arms, holding him close against his chest in a tight hug.

Burying his face in the small boys hair, he tried his best to fight back tears but a few still rolled down cheeks, hand comforting the once again sobbing boy in his arms as it slowly rubbed his back, voice not as steady as he had hoped. "There's nothing wrong with you, or Morgan and I... you know we only want the best for you..." Eyes closed once more, the pair of them holding each other tightly as if they were never going to let go.

Neither Tetsu or Rhys were aware of how long they'd been on the bed like that, but it had to have been a good few hours for soon the bedroom door was creaking open. Morgan had come home, and normally greeted by his husband, son and Romeo it had been strange to only be met by the rabbit lopping across the room to sniff at his feet in the hopes of getting a stroke between the ears. He knew they hadn't gone out, they'd have atleast left a note if not called him to let him know but all that he could see were several large pages of concept sketches. Taking off the tie that he had been wearing all day the drama teacher stepped out of black shoes, a hand running through messy hair as he looked around, eyes settling in the closed door to Rhys room.

Peaking a head around the corner of the door as he opened it slowly he was met by the sight ouf husband and son curled up on the bed, brow furrowing curiously before clearing his throat far from inconspicuously.
"Tetsu?"
"Oh, Morgan. You're home." Looking up as he spoke, Rhys who had fallen into a light nap groaned quietly as he was awoken by the voices, a hand raising to rub eyes and tear stained cheeks, whincing as he was a bit too firm around the bruise. Swinging his legs over the side of the bed, arm kept Rhys held to his chest as he rose, a hand of his own running beneath his eyes and over cheeks.
"What's happened?" Watching Tetsu as he wandered towards him with child in arms, he recieved a reassuring smile which didn't help quell the confusion especially as he saw the marks on the young males face.

Leaning down, small feet soon met the floor and the seven year old stood there, know looking rather lost as Tetsu leant up, whispering into Morgans ear as a hand rested softly on his waist, feeling a warm hand settle on his own. "He had an issue at school today, I'll tell you everything in a bit." With a soft kiss pressed to slightly stubbily jaw, the shorter of the pair turned, smiling down at their rather confused looking son. "How about we get you in a nice warm bath, then we'll have dinner?" Recieving a nod as a response he was soon near enough dragged to go and run a warm bath.

A few minutes later, Morgan was sat at the kitchen table with fingers drumming on the wood, watching the bathroom door for the male to re-emerge. He soon did, drying hands on a towel to rid them of water and bubbles he hadn't even sat down before the question was asked once again for the nth time that day.
"What happened?"
"I got a call today from his schoo-"
Interupted by the bathroom door opening, still in his school trousers Rhys ran up to Morgan, arms wrapping around his waist tightly with a big grin on his face much to the confusement of the older male. His voice was a lot cherpier than when Tetsu had been talking with him earlier, and soon he was gone to go and get into his bath his words resonating in Morgan's mind.

"Dad, I don't hate you anymore."
